News & Results from NECW’s AUTUMN UNLEASHED

It was a big two event weekend for New England Championship Wrestling with AUTUMN UNLEASHED.

On Friday night, October 23, 2009, NECW made its debut at Teamworks Indoor Sports Complex in Somerset, MA with all NECW recognized championships up for grabs.

The evening began with a special showcase match that saw Vinnie Nero defeat Matt Magnum with a small package.

Ryan Bisbal with Ivy pinned “The Talent” TJ Richter with Mr. Munroe.

In Pat’s Pit with Pat ‘The Brat” Piper, “Rock God” Brett Adams and “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke came out claiming that they would win the NECW Triple Crown from “The Enforcer” Max Bauer. Bauer took exception and came to the ring. A heated exchange ensued leading up to the night’s main event.

Mr. Munroe was disqualified in his match with “The Devil’s Reject” Brandon Webb for refusing to release a chokehold. After the match concluded, the lights in the building went out. When they turned back on, Webb had disappeared.

World Women’s Wrestling Champion Alexxis Nevaeh retained her title, pinning Ivy following a top rope drop kick.

NECW Television Champion “The Heat” Kris Pyro pinned Brendan Michael Thomas with the Afterburn 2.0 to retain the championship.

DC Dillinger defeated “Sensational” Scott Levesque accompanied by Sammi Lane by pinfall.

Davey Loomis and Alex Payne appeared to have the NECW Tag Team Titles wrapped up following a tag team maneuver, but The Crown Jewels and “Mr. Fabulous” Tony Ulysses fled the ring choosing to lose the match by count out, but retaining the championships.

In the main event, NECW Triple Crown Champion “The Enforcer” Max Bauer defeated “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke with “Rock God” Brett Adams following a big boot.

The following night, Saturday, October 24, 2009, NECW returned to the National Guard Armory in Quincy, MA for night two of NECW’s AUTUMN UNLEASHED.

In a rematch of the previous night’s Showcase Match, Vinnie Nero faced off with Matt Magnum. This time, Mr. Munroe and T.J. Richter came to the ring and Munroe laid waste to both men for a No Contest.

NECW Television Champion “The Heat” Kris Pyro pinned Chris Camaro with the Afterburn 2.0

Davey Loomis accompanied by his tag partner Alex Payne pinned “Royalty” William King after a belly-to-belly suplex.

In a World Women’s Championship rematch, Alexxis Nevaeh retained the red and gold belt, pinning Mistress Belmont following the top rope dropkick.

Handsome Johnny and Pat “The Brat” Piper came to the ring for their pie eating contest. Both men and Sammi Lane were blindfolded. Handsome won the contest 5 pies to none, as Piper chose not to eat any. The two will have a rubber match to decide the feud. They will meet in Pat’s Pit on November 21st in Quincy to discuss terms of the match.

In a non-title contest, the team of Don Vega and Ryan Bisbal with Ivy defeated the reigning NECW Tag Team Champions The Crown Jewels with “Mr. Fabulous” Tony Ulysses after Bisbal hit Bad Boy Jason with a top rope flying body press. After the match, the champions began to beat down the challengers. From the crowd a hooded individual jumped the guardrails with a steel chair sending the Jewels scrambling. When he threw back his hood, the crowd was surprised by the NECW return of the “East Coast Intensity” Jose Perez.

NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg announced that “The Golden Greek” Alex Arion was suspended indefinitely for his vicious attack on DC Dillinger the previous month. Manager Sean Gorman came to the ring and protested, threatening legal intervention, to no avail.

D.C. Dillinger was scheduled to face “Sensational” Scott Levesque with Handsome Johnny and Sammi Lane in his corner. Handsome Johnny bowed out claiming gastro-intestinal distress. Dillinger went on to win the match with a huge Mafia Kick. After the match Lane hit Dillinger from behind, but D.C. instead grabbed her and planted a huge kiss on Lane.

“The Talent” TJ Richter and Mr. Munroe came to the ring for another Body Slam challenge, as Richter put $5000 of his money on the line that no one could slam Mr. Munroe. Once again, Richter went to pick someone from the crowd and picked someone who was less than 4 1/2 feet tall. In fact, this man barely came up to the waist of Munroe, yet the man attempted to slam Munroe two times to no avail. Richter began to berate and joke at the height of the young man, but then apparently changed his tune. Suddenly Richter offered the man a job. The crowd was yelling not to do it, but the young man hugged Richter. “The Devil’s Reject” Brandon Webb then came to the ring for his match with Richter. The two tore into each other, but Richter was able to win the encounter with a neck breaker.

In the main event for the NECW Triple Crown Championship, “Enforcer” Max Bauer defended against “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke, accompanied by his partner “The Natural” Scott Osbourne and manager “The Rock God” Brett Adams. Locke and Bauer battled all over the ringside area, leaving it in shambles, before Bauer was able to lift Locke up attempting his coup de gras, the “Bauer-bomb”. Osbourne quickly slid into the ring and attacked the champion, getting Locke disqualified. The team of Real Natural beat down the Triple Crown Champion until the unlikely intervention of D.C. Dillinger caused them to flee. Dillinger stood in the ring with a rather surprised looking Max Bauer and handed him the Triple Crown Championship belt.

NECW returns to live action on Saturday night, November 21st at the National Guard Armory in Quincy, MA for the 2009 TOXIC WALTZ. NECW will also make its debut in Plymouth, MA the night after Thanksgiving for KNIGHT OF CHAMPIONS at the Plymouth Memorial Hall in Plymouth, MA as the first night of a two night Thanksgiving Weekend Spectacular.
