Two More Matches Announced for NECW’s A FIGHT FOR ALEX 2 on May 14

New England Championship Wrestling announced two more matches for its benefit event on Saturday night, May 14 at Carver High School, 60 South Meadow Road in Carver, MA with a 7 PM bell time.

Already announced is the blockbuster main event for the NECW Heavyweight Championship, as ‘The Real Deal” Brandon Locke takes on current Ring of Honor World Champion and former NECW star, “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards.  While Edwards’ title is not on the line, he considers the NECW Heavyweight Championship “unfinished business.”

Edwards was a four time NECW Tag Team Champion and a two time IRON 8 Tournament Champion.  He has made it no secret that the NECW Heavyweight Championship is a title he has coveted for years.

In addition to this big main event, the current World Women’s Wrestling champion, Alexxis Neveah, who is a three time champion, defends the title in a chapionship rematch from this past summer against the former champion, Mistress Belmont.  The feud between Neveah and Belmont has been arguably the greatest feud between two women in the history of the promotion.

Also announced, former two time NECW Heavyweight Champion, D.C. Dillinger takes on a senseational newcomer in Matt Taven, making his NECW debut.

More matches will be announced soon.  Tickets are available in advance for $10 general admission at Carver High School (508-866-6140) and at Georgio’s Pizza (150 Main St., Carver).
