NECW made a triumphant return to the Millerville Men’s Club in Blackstone, MA on Friday night, March 23rd in front of a sold out, standing room only crowd.
A shocking turn of events kicked off the night, as Sean Gorman, manager of the NECW Tag Team Champions, The Dynasty, came out with the tag team title belts over his shoulders and announced that he gave D.C. Dillinger (one half of the tag teams champions) the night off because Blackstone didn’t deserve to see even one half of the tag team champions and that seeing the belts on his shoulders would be the closest they would ever come to see a Tag Team Championship Match in Blackstone.
That brought out NECW promoter, Sheldon Goldberg, who told Gorman that he and The Dynasty had been getting away with a lot lately, including cheating to win the titles and attacking officials. He reminded Gorman that Dillinger had a signed contract to appear and since he gave him the night off and declared that they had no intention of defending the titles in Blackstone, he was stripping The Dynasty of the titles and that the winner of the match scheduled between the top two contending teams – All Money I$ Legal and The Logan Brothers – would be for the titles and that new champions would be crowned that night!
Gorman then stayed in the ring and threatened to hijack the show, but NECW Heavyweight Champion “The Infamous” Bobby Fish prevented this. Gorman announced he would be managing Fish’s opponent for the evening, Chase Del Monte. Del Monte came out claiming injuries from a car accident, but it was a ruse. Del Monte attempted to attack the champion. Fish fought back, but Gorman’s interference allowed Del Monte to hit a low blow on Fish and ram him shoulder first into the ring post.
NECW Tag Team Championship Match: All Money i$ Legal (K-Pusha and K-Murda) defeated the Logan Brothers (Matt Logan and Bryan Logan) via pinfall to win the vacated Tag Team Titles.
Johnny Thunder defeated Jason Rumble via pinfall after an audio distraction from Elia Markopoulos.
Blackstone’s Tank the Tank came to the ring for an interview to a huge ovation. He was interrupted by former NECW TV Champion, “Superstar” Ryan Matthews which led to the Generation of Disaster (Apocalypse & “The Devil’s Reject” Brandon Webb) ambushing Tank. The Giant Pharaoh emerged and the Generation of Disaster, and Matthews made their exit.
NECW Heavyweight Championship Match: “The Infamous” Bobby Fish (Champion) defeated Chase Del Monte (Challenger) (w/ Sean Gorman) via submission to retain the NECW Heavyweight Championship.
In a World Women’s Wrestling feature match, Adrianna defeated Mistress Belmont via pinfall after the use of a foreign object.
In the finale, Tank the Tank & The Giant Pharaoh defeated The Generation of Disaster (Apocalypse & “The Devil’s Reject” Brandon Webb) (w/ Ryan Matthews) via pinfall.
