3 Championship Matches, Including NWA World’s Heavyweight Title Match, Top The Card as NECW Celebrates It’s 12th Anniversary with HOT AUGUST FIGHT, Saturday Night, August 18 in Bridgewater, MA

The NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship and all NECW recognized champions will be in the house, as New England Championship Wrestling celebrates its 12th anniversary with HOT AUGUST FIGHT Saturday night, August 18th at the Knights of Columbus, 582 Bedford Street, Bridgewater,MA with a 7 PM bell time.

The main event marks the return of the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship to NECW in Stage Five of the Seven Levels of Hate, a Best of Seven series of matches taking place across the country for the legendary 10 poundsof leather and gold that signifies the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) World’s Heavyweight Championship.  In June, NECW hosted the 3rd match in the series between then champion, Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana and former champion, “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce.  Cabana won the first three matches in the series, but Pearce regained the title with a victory in Kansas City on July 21st.  Though he is still down 3 matches to 1,  the roles will be reversed with Pearce holding the gold and Cabana looking to recapture the title and end the series.   Everything is on the line for Pearce, as he has pledged to leave the NWA forever if he loses the series.

Each match in the “Seven Levels of Hate” has a stipulation and on Saturday night, August 18th “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce and Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana will square off in a Dog Collar Match!  In this bout, the two contestants will be joined together by an18 foot steel chain attached to each man with a dog collar.  The chain can be used as a weapon in the match.

In the co-feature, NECW Heavyweight Champion, “The Infamous’ Bobby Fish returns to NECW after an extensive tour of Japanin a long-awaited rematch with the man he won the title from back on October 23, 2011, “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke.  Locke says he waited to cash in his rematch clause until now.  “I am in the best shape of my life,” said Locke.  “I am right where I want to be physically and mentally and that was not the case when I lost the title.  On August 18th, I will take the belt back and prove to everyone that I truly am “The Real Deal.”

NECW Tag Team Champions, Da Hou$e Party (formerly known as All Money I$ Legal) take the team who walked away with an impressive victory last month in Nick Farenheight & Nick Westgate.

Number one contender to the NECW Heavyweight Championship, Chase Del Monte returns to action colliding with the impressive newcomer who calls himself the “Charismatic Milkshake” and “The Party Peacock,”DaltonCastle.

“The Italian Superman” Tony Delfonzo is back to face Ryan Matthews.

After getting a count out victory last month, when her opponent filed to show up for their scheduled match, Adrianna has insisted to NECW officials that she be granted another match with World Women’s Wrestling Champion, Alexxis Nevaeh.  Adrianna has numerous demands and at HOT AUGUST FIGHT, these two will come together face to face to sign a contract for an upcoming championship match.

All this, plus just signed:  Johnny Thunder, with a string of questionable wins, but wins nonetheless, to his credit, takes on Sean Burke.
