In this second episode of the ReGeneration Podcast, Sheldon, Joe and Kevin look back at “The Golden Greek” Alex Arion through two of the matches in the 20th Anniversary Collection.
First, it’s a match for the NECW Heavyweight Championship between champion “Brutal ” Bob Evan and Alex Arion with future champion, Maverick Wild as the special guest referee and an introduction by the late “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.
From there, we fast forward seven years to another NECW Heavyweight Championship Match – this one inside a Steel Cage – as champion Max Bauer defends against Arion with DC Dillinger as the guest referee and Arion managed by Sean Gorman.
We’ll also have an exclusive video of an angle that led up to that cage match that has not be available for viewing in over 10 years.
