Complete Results from NECW’s RED, WHITE & BRUISED

New England Championship Wrestling returned to live action on Saturday night,July 14, 2012for RED, WHITE & BRUISED.  The event featured great action and some notable debuts and appearances.

A fast paced opener saw Julian Starr defeat Mark Shurman.

In a great debut for both men, “The Party Peacock”DaltonCastletook the fall overCanada’s Jeremy Prophet.

Chase Delmonte, Matt Logan & Sean Gorman came out to address the fans, as well as “Mr. Undefeated” Matt Taven. Chase let it be known, this #1 contenders match meant everything to him.  He said he was tired of being overlooked and tonight he would defeat Matt Taven and make a statement to NECW fans as well as NECW Heavyweight Champion, “The Infamous” Bobby Fish.  Sean Gorman then proceeded to advise the fans that Bryan Logan was injured in training and unable to perform. Therefore Matt Logan was given the night off.  NECW officials informed Matt Logan that he had a signed contract.  Due to similar situations in the past, if Matt Logan did not honor The Logan Brothers contract for tonight’s match, that they would be suspended for 30 days.

Bridgewater’s Nick Westgate & Nick Farenheight defeated Matt Logan by countout. Chase Delmonte & Sean Gorman made their presence known throughout, but the young guns, Westgate and Farenheight were poised for victory when Gorman toldLoganhe needed to retreat. Westgate & Farenheight impressed a lot of people including The Mill City Hooligans!

NECW Promoter, Sheldon Goldberg came out to update the fans on the aftermath of last month’s NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship Match between champion, Colt Cabana & former champion “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, which was the 3rd match in the “Seven Levels of Hate” Best of Seven series of title matches.  He informed the fans that Cabana was victorious in a controversial “I Quit” match inHopkins,MNand now led the series 3-0.  He told the fans the the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship would return to NECW on August18 inBridgewater.  He told that fans that Stage Four in the Sevel LKevels of Hate takes place on July23 inKansas City,KSand if Cabana won he would defend the title against a top contender from the NECW roster.  If Pearce should prevail, then August 18 would be Stage Five in the Seven Levels of Hate and that the stipulation for the match, if necessary, would be announced that next week.

Brandon Locke defeated Brian Fury by disqualification, when DC Dillinger returned and interfered. A classic match up, spoiled by DC Dillinger and what appeared to be the uprising of The Dynasty!! Dillinger’s stunning actions after the assault on Locke will be addressed on an upcoming NECW ONLINE UPDATE.

Sean Burke defeated Elia Markropolis in 37 seconds!! Mr Fabulous & Elia then insulted Burke and attacked him, causing Jason Rumble to charge from the locker room to even up the sides. Burke & Rumble challenged the Crown Jewels to a tag team match, which after much discussing was accepted!!

Elia Markropolis & Mr Fabulous Tony Ulysses defeated Sean Burke & Jason Rumble when Elia pinned Jason Rumble. It was a great impromptu match that saw Elia stun Rumble to get the victory!!

Johnny Thunder defeatedJapan’s Classic New Wrestling’s Josh O’Brien. Thunder used all the veteran smarts to keep the debuting O’Brien off balance. Thunder once again came away with a questionable win, but a win none the less.

Adrianna defeated Mercedes via countout, when Mercedes did not appear. Adrianna addressed the situation, informing fans that this was a huge win and that on the heels of this win, she will confront the World Women’s Wrestling Champion, Alexxis Navaeh, on August 18

Chase Delmonte defeated Matt Taven to become the undisputed #1 contender to the NECW Heavyweight Championship. This match saw a little bit of everything, with Taven & Delmonte brawling in the crowd, Matt Logan attempting to get involved, but Taven appeared to be one step ahead until the very end, which saw Chase catch Taven with the cradle piledriver. Chase just signified to everyone that he is for real and coming straight for NECW Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Fish.

NECW returns to live action on Saturday night, August 18 for HOT AUGUST FIGHT featuring an NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship Match & the return of NECW Heavyweight Champion, “The Infamous” Bobby Fish.
