NECW’s BOUTS FOR THE SCOUTS To Benefit Abington Pack 11 Cub Scouts, Saturday Night, April 6 in Abington

New England Championship Wrestling returns to the Abington High School, 201 Gliniewicz Way on Saturday night, April 6 for the 2nd annual BOUTS FOR THE SCOUTS, a benefit event for the Abington Pack 11 Cub Scouts.   Matches will be taped for television.

The main event promises to be an action packed thriller, as the new NECW Tag Team Champions, “Superstar” Scotty Slade & “The Shure Thing” Mark Shurman and their partner, the monstrous Apocalypse take on the trio of Mike Webb, Nick Farenheight and the 7 foot Giant Pharaoh. Webb & Farenheight have come close to capturing the tag team titles, but have been thwarted by the consistent rule breaking of the champions. The challengers hope to extract a measure of revenge, as they continue their campaign to topple the current title holders.

World Women’s Wrestling Champion, the popular Alexxis Neveah returns to Abington to defend her title in a rematch against challenger Nikki Valentine.  Should Alexxis be victorious and continue to hold the title through May 4th, she will have held the title for an incredible 1,000 days in her current reign as champion. She is the longest reigning champion in NECW history, male or female, and truly one of our most enduring stars.

Former NECW Heavyweight Champion, Slyck Wagner Brown returns to action facing the veteran Beau Douglas.

Returning to NECW at BOPUTS FOR THE SCOUTS is “The Party Peacock” Dalton Castle.   He takes on a great young star from the New York area in Justin Corino, who is looking to make a big move here in NECW.

With injury postponing this match up from taking place last week in Randolph,  “The Boston Bad Boy” Jason Rumble takes on Elia Markopoulos in a Boston Street Fight in Abington  All bets are off and no holds will be barred as these two settle their differences one way or the other.

Finally, Johnny Thunder, who is riding a new wave of popularity in NECW, faces newcomer Mike McCarthy in a special challenge match.

Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Children under are $10 each. Advance tickets are on sale now – online at www.NECW.tv/events or by calling 1-800-838-3006. Join us for a great night of action for a great cause!
