New England Championship Wrestling returns to the Granite State of New Hampshire for the first time in 8 years with THROWBACK THROWDOWN taking place Saturday night, September 28 at Sportszone, 7 A Street, Derry, New Hampshire with a 7 PM bell time. The event is a benefit for SZ United Soccer Clubs, a children’s soccer league
This unique event will feature three classic wrestling superstars as they team with and against the stars of New England Championship Wrestling. WWE Hall of Famers, Tito Santana, “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas and former WWE star “Dangerous” Danny Davis will be on the card (Stars presented by Sinners & Saints Tattoo) plus special guest former Rock 101 radio personality, Scorch!
NECW Heavyweight Champion, Antonio “The Promise” Thomas teams with WWE Hall of Famer, Tito Santana to take on the team of “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy and Beau Douglas.
WWE Hall of Famer, “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas teams with former NECW Heavyweight Champion, Slyck Wagner Brown as they take on Canadian sensation, Jeremy Prophet & a mystery partner.
The NECW Tag Team Champions, Mike Webb & Nick Farenheight team with young Brad Hollister to take on the trio of former NECW Tag Team Champions, “Superstar” Scotty Slade & “The Shure Thing” Mark Shurman with their partner, The Monster Apocalypse.
WWE Legend, “Dangerous” Danny Davis faces NECW legend, “The Egomaniac” Jonny Idol.
Plus, NECW Television Champion, Johnny Thunder defends his title against “The Boston Bad Boy” Jason Rumble, “The Italian Superman” Tony Delfonzo sees action against “The Fabulous” Johnny Vegas, plus a World Women’s Wrestling feature match as Barbie makes her return to face the debuting Renee Michelle.
There will be a special pre-show fan fest beginning at 4 PM, where fans can meet the stars, get pictures & autographs as well as other merchandise & memorabilia. The fan fest is free with an admission ticket to the event.
Proceeds benefit SZ United Soccer Club, a great soccer programs for kids. Funds will be used to defray some of the costs for kids in the program.
