New England Championship Wrestling will presents it final event of 2013, UNWRAPPED, at the Cove Community Center, 19 East Corning Street in Beverly on Friday night, December 6th with an 8 PM bell time.
An epic main event is scheduled, a 6 man tag team war, as NECW Heavyweight Champion, Sean Burke, “Canadian Sensation” Jeremy Prophet & Genesis take on the team of former NECW Heavyweight Champion, Antonio Thomas, Slyck Wagner Brown and “Asylum” Nick Shepherd. Each contestant has issues with one or more people on the other team. Antonio Thomas is trying to right a wrong and regain the NECW Heavyweight Championship from Sean Burke. Slyck Wagner Brown and Jeremy Prophet are still at odds in a feud that yet to be definitively settled. “Asylum” Nick Shepherd has it our for Jeremy Prophet for some reason that has yet top be revealed. Genesis is the henchman of Prophet and Burke and all three men on the opposite side take issue with that. This is a “dream match” showdown not to be missed.
In other bouts, the new World Women’s Wrestling Champion, Mistress Belmont makes her first title defense against Kasey Ray, who is out for revenge against the new WWW Champion.
NECW Tag Team Champions, “That Guy” Scotty Slade & “The Shure Thing” Mark Shurman will be tested by the veteran team of Beau Douglas and local legend Brickhouse Baker.
After numerous protests by “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy, he has been granted a rematch with the NECW Television Champion, Johnny Thunder with the title on the line.
Brad Hollister will be in action against “The Fabulous” Johnny Vegas and “Diamondback” Jack Maverick makes his NECW debut.
