As New England Championship Wrestling wraps up 2014, we want to wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous holiday season and New Year and give you a look ahead into 2015.
On Christmas Day, we will be airing our last episode of New England Championship Wrestling on WMFP TV, Channel 62 in Boston for the time being.
Since the show premiered in April of 2013, we produced 90 original episodes of television with only one repeated show – all done on a near zero budget. We’ve had the chance to share NECW not just with our great local fans, but fans around the country and around the world via YouTube. Our shows have accumulated well over two and a half million online views over this period.
We are taking a break from producing broadcast TV in order to marshal the resources to elevate our production and bring you an even better television product in partnership with the United Wrestling Network and our good friend David Marquez of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. We expect to return to broadcast TV before the end of 2015.
In the meantime, our live events will continue and we will be producing new video content on YouTube as we work on ramping up our operations. Watch our web site, Facebook and Twitter for news on new content, as well as news on our upcoming live events.
